#2) What components of a computer are essential for general classroom use (Chapt. 1)?
I am not sure if this is exactly what Dr. Juneau is looking for but I looked in the book and found this. The main components that are needed for classroom use are: tower, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. A printer may also be helpful but I do not think that many classrooms have one even though they are useful.
#9) In what classroom situation would an online simulation be an appropriate learning tool (Chapt. 6)?
Again I looked the question up in the book and this is what I understand it to be saying. Students doing things online can be very useful. One way to do this is to show them a educational website on the subject. Another thing I got from the book was to have them look up questions on kid friendly sites. Give a list of approved sites or if they are looking it up in class block sites you do not want them to go to or set one of the kid friendly ones as the home page. Many online things can be extremely helpful teachers just have to be careful as to where their students go.
